Back on the bus after a lovely weekend in Rome
- Sit-ups (Jack knife, jack knife cross-over, crunch, v-sit, corkscrew)
- 5km run
- Cooked breakfast (scrambled egg, grilled tomato, 2x rashers of bacon, sausage, baked beans
- 2x chicken thighs (skin off), small salad and pasta
- 2x ginger biscuits
- Grilled salmon with citrus & dill, stir fried veg
- Two cups of coffee
- Seven glasses of water
- Four cups of green tea
Lovely crisp autumn morning for a run! Had to dig a little deeper due to the late night but enjoyed the fresh air rather than using their tiny gym. Worked mainly on landing my foot strikes (ball not heel) directly under my hips.
As I wasnt sure where I was going I took my phone with me, and was surprised just how much carrying the phone affected my balance. I guess having it at the end of my arm meant it had a larger effect but surely even if you wear one of those pouches at the top of your arm it still affects your balance and so has the potential to cause injury?
On to Session Five and Friday, woohoo!
